Important carved 6 door leaded glass bookcase

Massive and rare quarter sawn white oak carved bookcase. This bookcase measures 10 feet long, it is nearly 6.5 feet tall and 22" deep. The original leaded glass doors are nearly 5 feet tall, and all 6 are in perfect condition. It is completely original and the carving is exquisite. It is said to have been commissioned by William Randolph Hearst. The quality of workmanship is extraordinary. Truly a one of a kind piece. Even the secondary woods are quarter sawn oak. Massive proportions and exceptional carving.
